Who I am

I’m Sarah, a native Brit who’s been living in the Netherlands since 2017. I write and edit in English for local and international brands.

In the past few years, I’ve shifted from purely writing and polishing texts to taking a more strategic approach to content; we all like pretty words, but if no one sees them, what’s the point?

Nowadays, I concentrate on making content perform. I’m happy wrestling with a range of CMS, writing SEO-focussed texts, and planning content around user intent. And an unhealthy obsession with the internet means I’m always up-to-date on the latest in AI in content production and search. Though you won’t catch me getting an LLM to write for me, I know how to use prompts for an efficient workflow.
